EDRMedeso wants to help the universities to increase the interest towards technical education
EDRMedeso promotes ANSYS technologies in teaching and research activities because of increased need of simulations, digital labs and IoT in society. By making sure that ANSYS tools are easily accessible for the academics, we aim to provide students the skills which will be also valuable for both them and for the industry. Our target is to be the number one partner in simulation related education in the Nordics.
This implies greater presence in the universities and colleges, and we want to establish an interactive collaboration with both staff and students. EDRMedeso wants to help the universities to increase the interest towards technical education by showing how e.g. simulations are utilized in industry. In addition, we bring out opportunities to pursue simulation related careers by offering interesting thesis topics. If students find simulations fascinating after their thesis, some will get the opportunity to work with us and be part of world leading simulation company.
During the next months we will arrange design competitions and workshops, give guest lectures and participate in various events hosted by universities. There will also be EDRMedeso events focusing on the academic societies throughout the Nordics. In the longer run our aim is to collect as many ANSYS users in student seminars, workshops and annual meetings.
As we now have a dedicated academic manager in place, it is possible to concentrate on our academic customers and give them the support and attention that serves their needs in the best possible way.
