We are partnering up with PTC to accelerate digital twin technology

By Frode Halvorsen, Vice President at EDRMedeso

At EDRMedeso, we keep developing our solutions and the product portfolio we offer our clients. We only work with the best suppliers and we’ve had long-term partnerships with both ANSYS and Tekla, who are at the absolute forefront of their fields. Today, we are excited to be able to present our newest partner: PTC.

PTC is a global leader in IoT. They also work with ANSYS which is one of the many benefits of partnering up with them. They know and understand the technology we work with, and they can help developing solutions that can be incorporated into existing technology. PTC is very strong in the area of digital twins, and those are competences we will put in play to enable better and faster adaption of digital twin technology across Northern Europe.

Speeding up the process and ensuring higher quality

We have created numerous digital twin applications with some of our most valued customers already, and they are starting to reap the benefits now. By partnering up with PTC, we want to leverage our offerings on digital twin solutions and make them accessible to even more of our customers.

The use of digital twin technology is still at an early stage for most companies, and the process of creating and deploying digital twins has previously been complicated and lengthy. We want to change that by building digital twin solutions based on ANSYS software and running them on the PTC ThingWorx platform. This will speed up the process of creating and deploying the solutions and applications dramatically without compromising quality. There will no longer be a need to build everything from scratch and the reliability of the solutions will increase.
