EDRMedeso Mechanical App Update 2022R1
EDRMedeso productivity tools Bolt Toolkit, Weld Toolkit and Report Generator are now updated and available for Ansys 2022 R1. The update brings some new features and bugfixes.
If you already have a license for one or more of the apps you may use the download link that was provided with the license file to download the new version or contact our support to get the link.

Bolt Toolkit Update News:
- A quick reference guide is included to guide you to important pages in the documentation.
- Rivet/Bolt Child result to display different result items from a parent result.
- Insert figures and automatic renaming for faster bolt report preparation.
- Bugfix for zero bolt result if no contacts are found (e.g. share topology).
- Bugfix for bolt/rivet result scale factor.
- Bugfix for rivets in solid models not coupling one of the coincident edges to the rivet shaft.
- Bugfix to find current Ansys license for post processing.
- Detect and display errors messages from post processing MAPDL process in ACT log file.

Weld Toolkit Update News:
- A quick reference guide is included to guide you to important pages in the documentation.
- New strength and fatigue tutorials with step-by-step instructions.
- Nominal and Effective Notch method mesh quality calculation improved at shared edges.
- Nominal and Effective Notch method exclude results for elements connected to “cut boundary” and other displacement boundary conditions.
- Effective Notch method updated to use generic fillet geometry and plot result on notch edge.
- Bugfix to find current Ansys license for post processing.
- Detect and display errors messages from post processing MAPDL process in ACT log file.

Report Generator Update News:
- Support for “Import Group” and the “Import” objects to display CAD-file name and properties.
- Rename Figures/Images based on parent object name.
- Bugfix: “Contact Tool” results are now exported.
- Bugfix: “Save binary extension with project” will save local preference, customization and Word templates with the project and restore when open the project on a different PC.
