Meet the Team – Introducing EDRMedeso Poland

Maciej:
Maciej Ginalski
I’ve spent more than two decades at the crossroads of engineering and business. I started with MSc and PhD degrees in Computational Fluid Dynamics, and later completed an MBA at the University of Manchester. My career includes time at Ansys and a leading channel partner in Poland, where I led technical and sales teams. What I’ve always focused on is solving real challenges, not just from an engineering perspective, but from a strategic, scalable, and business-oriented point of view.
Piotr:
Piotr Buliński
I earned my PhD in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in thermal-fluid sciences. From my early academic work on vacuum induction furnaces and biothermal cancer diagnostics, to supporting companies with Ansys tools in the space, rail, and energy sectors, my journey has been about translating complex simulations into meaningful business outcomes. I’ve also led sales teams, turning startups into strategic partners. What energizes me is creating clarity in complexity.
Julia:
Julia Zorkina
My path is a little bit different to that of Maciej and Piotr. I have a background in economics and finance, with my early career spent in banking and logistics. After moving to Poland from Ukraine, I learned a new language and transitioned into the engineering simulation sector. Over the past two years, I’ve been working closely with clients and identifying market opportunities for Ansys solutions. I love working with people and finding the best way to create mutual value.
Maciej:
Simulation has always fascinated me – it’s where creativity meets precision. Over time, I’ve come to see it as a vital enabler of responsible innovation. It allows us to explore bold ideas safely and efficiently. More recently, I’ve started exploring how machine learning can complement traditional simulation – and that’s opening entirely new doors.
Piotr:
It’s the power of simulation to solve real-world problems that pulled me in. I’ve used it in biomedical research, industrial applications, and business scenarios. What excites me most is how it’s evolving, increasingly accessible, integrated with AI, and used across industries. It’s more than a technical tool; it’s a mindset shift.
Julia:
What initially drew me in was seeing the impact of simulation in real client projects. I found it incredibly rewarding to be part of something that helps companies innovate faster and smarter. The more I learn about the technology, the more motivated I become; I aspire to be the bridge between the client and the solution.
Maciej:
This expansion is about more than geography, it’s about building meaningful connections. Poland offers a vibrant, fast-growing market full of talent, ideas, and energy. By integrating with EDRMedeso’s network, we break down silos and open up new opportunities for both local and global innovation.
Piotr:
Poland is undergoing a digital transformation in engineering, and there’s strong demand for advanced tools like simulation. At the same time, EDRMedeso brings a wealth of experience and a collaborative mindset that fits the Polish market perfectly. Together, we’re positioned to become a true innovation partner for the region.
Julia:
There’s so much potential here, especially in combining global best practices with local insight. I also see huge opportunities to collaborate with universities, nurture young talent, and show new audiences what simulation can do.
Maciej:
It’s the daily variety and the people I get to work with. Every conversation, every project is different. I thrive in that dynamic, helping turn bold ideas into real solutions, and creating environments where innovation can thrive.
Piotr:
I’m inspired by complexity, not just solving problems, but simplifying them for others. I enjoy guiding teams through uncertainty, building confidence, and watching new possibilities emerge. Simulation is a space where creativity and technical precision coexist beautifully.
Julia:
Seeing our technology help clients achieve their goals is incredibly fulfilling. And I love that I get to do it as part of a passionate, supportive team. We push each other, we spark ideas, and we really care about what we’re building together.
Maciej:
I spend as much time as I can with my family – they are my foundation. I also find peace and perspective in the mountains, and I enjoy home brewing as a creative, experimental outlet. It’s just like engineering… with a social twist.
Piotr:
Family life is my priority. I’m a proud dad of (soon-to-be) three children. I also love strategy board games, photography, reading non-fiction, and listening to sung poetry. These hobbies give me balance, joy, and new perspectives.
Julia:
I’m a mom to a curious and energetic 5-year-old, so our days are full of biking, swimming, and fun. I’m also a devoted football fan, my love for the game goes back to watching matches with my dad as a child. And I enjoy puzzles and multilingual reading, especially now that I’m learning Polish and improving my English.
Maciej:
Many people don’t realize that Polish mathematicians were the first to break the Enigma code before World War II, an extraordinary achievement that helped shape the future of modern computing.
Piotr:
Poland is home to some of the fastest and most energy-efficient supercomputers in Europe. ‘Helios’ in Kraków ranks among the global top 100; it’s a powerhouse in driving cutting-edge research.
Julia:
In the 17th century, Kazimierz Siemienowicz, a Polish scientist, laid the foundations of modern rocketry. That early vision of space exploration still inspires me today.
We are looking forward to sharing lots more news from Poland over the coming months, and embracing the country’s culture and innovative spirit.
