New CEO of EDRMedeso
Jani Ojala appointed as the new Group CEO at EDRMedeso

The EDRMedeso Board of Directors has appointed M.Sc. Jani Ojala (44) as the new Group CEO starting Jan 1st 2022. Jani Ojala currently acts as Country Manager for EDRMedeso subsidiaries in Finland and Sweden.
Earlier this year, Niklas Lindwall, decided that he wanted to step down after 6 years as CEO, at the end of 2021. Having conducted a detailed review, the company’s board is very pleased that Jani has accepted the CEO-position. Many exciting things are happening in our industry, and we have great ambitions to further develop the company and ensure that EDRMedeso is competitive, creating more value for our customers and shareholders and being an attractive workplace for our employees.

Both Jani Ojala and the board are very pleased to announce that Niklas Lindwall will remain with the company, where he will take on the leadership of the BuildingPoint business.
Jani has had various positions in sales, sales management and regional leadership during his almost 11 years career at EDRMedeso. He holds 15 years of experience in simulation software industry and has extensive knowledge of the market, customer challenges and simulation technologies together. He also has more than 10 years of leadership experience.

In support, Niklas explained that “During my +20 years career in EDRMedeso I have had the possibility to gain experience from all areas of our business. After 6 years as CEO, it is now time to let others take over the rudder and I’m confident that in selecting Jani Ojala, the board has made an excellent choice. I’m now thrilled to get the possibility to focus more on our BuildingPoint business where we are in the sweet spot of the Digitalization journey for the North European construction industry.”
