As we continue expanding our market, we’re looking for a talented, experienced and resourceful Application Engineer to support our efforts in the quickly expanding market. Part of a larger group, the company is responsible for sales, consultancy and account management of Ansys software in Europe. The role
As a vital member of our Digital Lab and Business Development ecosystem, the Application Engineer [LS-Dyna Focus] will play a key role in supporting customers, advancing technical excellence, and driving value across the UK and Nordic markets. This position is ideal for someone with strong engineering insight and enthusiasm for solving complex simulation challenges. You will help customers succeed by delivering high-quality technical support, contributing to consultancy and training services, and strengthening commercial opportunities through expert technical input. As part of this exciting and fast-paced role, you will provide:
Technical Support:
To assist customers in resolving software or methodology issues, including effectively diagnosing problems and collaborating with product & development teams, minimizing downtime, improving user experience, and strengthening customer trust. The focus of this function is customer satisfaction.
Sales Support:
To secure sales opportunities from a technical standpoint, including driving value and accelerating adoption by services. Increasing EDRMedeso footprint. The focus of this function is business value.
Services:
To deliver consultancy services for customers, contribute to the completion of application and theory courses and sales and user support for products within the Digital Lab delivery.

- Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience of working with LS-Dyna
- Possess an industrial background
- Have an MSc or PhD in Engineering or similar field of study
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex simulation issues
- Be comfortable presenting, delivering training, and supporting customer evaluations
- Enjoy collaborating across teams (Technical Support, Sales, Marketing)
