Join this demonstration of how Ansys Cloud Burst Compute for Ansys Lumerical works in detail, including how simulations are submitted and monitored, how simulation results can be retrieved, and what compute resources are currently available.

Overview

Ansys Lumerical Burst is a new feature that integrates Ansys Cloud Burst Compute into Ansys Lumerical FDTD. This feature enables users to run their Lumerical FDTD simulations on CPU and GPU cloud resources managed by Ansys directly from FDTD’s user interface, with minimal user setup required. The compute resources and licenses for these simulations are paid for on a pay-as-you-go basis using Ansys credits.

This feature enables users to access compute resources, accelerating their Lumerical FDTD simulations efficiently. The pay-as-you-go model allows users to access a large number of compute resources for a short period without the need for annual licenses.

In this webinar, we will provide a detailed demonstration of the Ansys Lumerical Burst feature, including how simulations are submitted and monitored, how simulation results can be retrieved, and what computing resources are currently available.

What attendees will learn:

  • Run Lumerical FDTD simulations on Ansys-managed cloud resources directly from the user interface using the new Lumerical Burst feature
  • Understand the pay-as-you-go model with Ansys Credits, enabling flexible access to high-performance CPU and GPU compute resources without long-term licensing commitments
  • Watch a live demonstration of how to submit, monitor, and retrieve simulation results using Ansys Lumerical Burst, and explore the types of cloud resources currently available
