Job Overview
In the role of FEA Engineer, you will be a trusted advisor in sales and implementation processes of software and methods, but also work with research and development in collaboration with customers and partners. You will work with Ansys Mechanical and other software in the Ansys portfolio. In addition, you will contribute to the development of our business through internal initiatives.
The purpose of the job is to promote, scope and deliver consultancy services for customers, contribute to the completion of application and theory courses and sales and user support for products within the Digital Lab delivery.

Responsibilities and Duties
Together with the structures team, deliver our service offering which focuses on accelerating and building customer competence. This includes method development, automation, software customization, cloud computing setup, training, and research.
- Develop and deliver innovative solutions based on simulation products
- Working as a trusted advisor for simulation driven product development.
- Actively engage with customers to solve their design challenges.
Qualifications
- Minimum M.Sc. level education in relevant field.
- FEA competence and experience with Ansys Mechanical or a similar simulation tool, at a level high enough to guide colleagues and to be considered an “expert” by customers.
- Experience in geometry preprocessing with modeling tools such as Ansys Discovery, Ansys SpaceClaim, or similar.
- Experience with systems simulations and Reduced Order Models is an advantage.
- Programming skills with Python or APDL.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with FEA from relevant industry or academia.
- Good communication and presentation skills: Fluent in both a Nordic language (Danish, Norwegian, Swedish, or Finish) and English.

- Strong desire to learn new things every day.
