Some of the latest capabilities that we will explore include:

  • FLUIDS
  • Extended support for the multi-GPU solver, reducing solve time and total power consumption
  • Quickly view and edit model and solver settings, monitors, and post-processing settings without having to load the mesh
  • Access new solver settings within PyFluent for radiation, species transport, DPM, VBM, mesh interfaces, and more
  • Significant enhancements for aerospace applications include a Virtual Blade Model, a built-in Aero-Optical workflow, and a new ability to account for weak ionization at hypersonic speeds to predict communications blackout in Ansys Fluent

  • STRUCTURES
  • Interface with Mechanical pythonically to automate capabilities and connect with other technologies
  • New enhancements for performing accurate and robust turbomachinery solutions
  • Concurrently solve multiple drop test analyses and apply height and angle variations with the Ansys LS-DYNA solver

  • ELECTRONICS
  • Opens new magnetics and power electronics applications for consumer devices with ECAD integration and time domain simulation improvements using HPC
  • HFSS enhancements introduce 3D Layout tool integrations, HPC adaptive mesh refinement, and enhancements to other Electronics tools
