Ansys Maxwell

Ansys Maxwell® (advanced electromagnetic field solver) is a 3D electromagnetic field simulation software that helps engineers design and analyze electromagnetic and electromechanical devices. It enables accurate modeling of complex geometries and can be used for a wide range of applications, including motors, generators, transformers, sensors, and actuators.

 

Simulation Software for Low Frequency Electromagnetic Applications

Ansys Maxwell® can solve static, frequency-domain, and time-varying magnetic and electric fields, and can also be coupled to Ansys structural and thermal solvers for multiphysics analysis.

Ansys Maxwell® capabilities for coupling to circuit simulators (either as reduced order modelling or co-simulation approaches) make it possible to investigate system as a whole and analyze interactions between different components, for example in an electric drive system.
